This became our go-to for our second cup of Kopi while in Kuching. The lady serving the coffee got to know us after only one visit, and in spite of our complete inability to speak either Malay or Mandarin she figured out just how sweet we liked our brew. Alas, the food stalls were rarely open when we popped by so we can’t comment on the food. But the coffee, and the warm, friendly service made our day every day. Just go.

Highly recommended for Sarawak laksa. Dont come too late or it will finish. The fast food / economy rice is also not bad. If you are lucky and in stock - you can have chicken feet from the laksa stall..

Type: Kopitiam (Asian coffee house). Open. Ambience: Casual This could be the best beef noodles and beef broth in town. Good amount of beef, noodles, and I love the bean sprouts in the broth, too; with some sprinkles of coriander. There are other foods here and the Forest Layer Tea (with Gula Apong - palm sugar, and wheatgrass) is worth a try. I’ve only managed to go there once, and beef noodle was all I had. Keen to try other stuff too, in the future. I highly recommend the beef noodles, and for anyone out there who’s never had the local noodles in Kuching, you must - because it keeps me full for 5 hours.

First time I've tried Mee Kolo in Laksa sup. I mean Laksa is good of cos with chicken feet, but a local friend taught me to enjoy it in different way which is pouring laksa sup onto Mee Kolo!!! Believe me when I say its really gravy and beautiful! Try it when u r here. The only pity was half raw eggs were actually almost raw, but the shop replaced it with the right ones right away with deep apologies so bo shu!

Smaller than usual coffee shop with limited food choices. No laksa and no kueh chap when we went there in Jan 2025. Beef noodles were good. Another good thing is your typical drinks all come without sugar. You need to add to your taste from the provided stock.
